Our version of The Thinker Sculpture is a reduction sculpture inspired the renown masterpiece by Auguste Rodin (1804-1917). This artwork shows a nude male of heroic size sitting on a rock with his chin resting on one hand as though being deep in thoughts. This sculpture is often used as an image to represent philosophy. Rodin first conceived the figure as part of The Gates of Hell commissioned in 1880, but the first of the famous monumental bronze castings did not appear until 1904. Our Thinker Statue for sale captures all the details of this inspiring artwork in a perfect size to display in interiors.
